Getting Started with Ledger® Live

Step 1: Download Ledger® Live

  1. Visit the official Ledger website at Ledger.com/Live to download the application.
  2. Choose the appropriate version for your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux) or mobile device (iOS, Android).
  3. Install Ledger® Live on your computer or smartphone.

Step 2: Set Up Your Ledger Wallet

  1. Unbox Your Ledger Wallet: Inside the box, you'll find your Ledger hardware wallet, a USB cable, recovery phrase cards, and the quick start guide.
  2. Connect Your Ledger Device: Use the provided USB cable to connect your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer or mobile device.
  3. Create a New Wallet: If this is your first Ledger wallet, choose the "Set up a new wallet" option in Ledger® Live. Follow the on-screen prompts to generate a secure PIN and 24-word recovery phrase.
  4. Write Down Your Recovery Phrase: Securely write down your 24-word recovery phrase on the provided cards. Store it in a safe, offline location. This phrase is your only backup if your device is lost or damaged.

Step 3: Install Cryptocurrency Apps

  1. Open Ledger® Live and select the Manager option in the sidebar.
  2. Browse the available cryptocurrency apps and install the ones for the coins or tokens you want to manage.
  3. Ledger® Live will guide you through the installation process for each app directly to your Ledger hardware wallet.
